Elementary School Newsletter 2.14.2024
Dear Elementary Families,
Did you know that several of our teachers have partnered with the Litzsinger Road Ecology Center (LREC) to enhance outdoor education? After attending a summer training program offered by LREC, these teachers have committed to planning monthly outdoor education opportunities for their students. This partnership includes three free field trips to the LREC property each school year, held in fall, winter, and spring. Recent feedback from students and teachers who participated in a winter field trip has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the richness of outdoor learning experiences and the invaluable insights gained through direct interaction with nature. We commend our participating teachers and are excited for others to join this enriching training next summer!
