Elementary School Newsletter 1.29.2024
Dear Elementary Families,
It's hard to believe we are in our last few days of January! We've saved our final graduate aim, "Appreciative of Differences," to share this week as we head into February, celebrating Black History Month. At PCS, we strive to support our students in understanding the value of appreciating differences, not just within our diverse student body but among people worldwide. Our goal is for our students to investigate and seek out different viewpoints and perspectives, displaying habits of character that show respect for and actively value others with belief systems and experiences different from their own. We look forward to highlighting this even more deeply this month as we learn and celebrate Black History Month.
PCS Yard Signs:
As we strive for excellence, we invite you to showcase your school pride and support by volunteering to place Premier Charter School yard signs in front of your homes. Your participation in this initiative will play a crucial role in marketing our school to prospective families in the neighborhood. To sign up, please use the linked Google Form here: PCS Yard Sign Volunteer Form (Elementary). Your support is highly valued, and together, we can create a positive buzz about our school, encouraging more families to join our close-knit community. Thank you for being a vital part of PCS's success!
Field Day T-Shirt Order:
This year we are going to do field day t-shirts again. Each building will have a different color like we did last year. We are attaching a link to order and payment will be accepted in Cash, Check or on the parent portal. All payments and orders are due by Feb. 1st. Shirts will not be ordered until payment is submitted. Please check your sizes appropriately because we will not have extras to exchange out.
Thank you so much for your cooperation with this. Please make sure you fill out a form before you make a parent portal payment. To make a payment on your parent portal go to the school store and shop under the field day shirt products. You will add the appropriate size for each selected child to the cart. Then you will proceed to your cart to check out.
