Middle School Newsletter - February 28th, 2022

What a gorgeous start to our week.! I am hopeful we have seen the end of the harsh winter weather. Below I have included some reminders and updates.

This is for all parents that have kids receiving special education services at PCS.

Estimados padres,

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education values the opinions of all parents in Missouri’s schools. We would appreciate you taking the time to respond to this brief survey about the special education services your child receives. This survey is confidential; your individual responses are not shared with the school district or anyone else. Only a summary of all responses is provided to school districts in order to help all schools improve education for our children.

You may complete this survey online.  Please complete by March 31.

Thank you very much for providing your input. (1) Online: Go to http://spec.education/ and enter the following Access Code: JUJYHA.

Let Me Run is a nonprofit wellness program that inspires boys to be themselves, be

active, and belong. With a comprehensive curriculum that applies the power of running,

the program encourages boys to develop their psychological, emotional and social

health, in addition to their physical health. Twice a week for seven weeks, two trained

volunteer coaches lead an elementary or middle school team through practice. Designed

to amplify confidence, self-expression, and respect for others, each practice includes a

lesson from the Let Me Run curriculum that incorporates running, games and activities.

The season culminates in a 5k race festival that celebrates the boys’ personal growth.

starts on March 8 th , meets Tuesdays and Thursdays after school, for an hour and
