Fall Festival: Thanks to everyone who helped or participated in the Fall Festival. The organizers always do such a great job, and it wouldn't go off without the help of the volunteer parents. Thank you all!

A message from Dr. Julie Frugo:

We are so thankful to be back in person connecting and learning this school year, but know there have been real challenges that we are still facing as a school community. The transition back to an in person school year we are more accustomed to has required even more stamina than usual from our PCS students, staff and families. From quarantines to heightened levels of stress and anxiety alongside targeting individualized academic supports for our students, the teachers and staff have been carrying a lot.

As a school who focuses on whole child development we know the importance of prioritizing our team’s health and well being as well. We know helping our adults practice balance and self care is critical in order to create an environment where our students engage in experiences that impact their development, character, and overall health and well-being. With that being said we are proposing to our Board an addendum to our calendar for Thanksgiving week. We are hoping to extend the week off by making Monday the 22nd and Tuesday the 23rd no school days. Our hope is to give a couple extra days to spend with family and friends so the team can recharge and be ready to continue to give their best to our kids and families moving forward. Although this will not be made official until the board approves, we realize this will require some time to put plans in place for your family so we wanted to give a heads up that this is in the works.

As always we appreciate your partnership and understanding during these unprecedented times.

TJ's fundraiser delivery is Tomorrow Tuesday, November 9th directly after school until 6pm in the elementary cafeteria.  We have no freezer space please make arrangements to pick up your items.

Happy Veterans Day this week to all of the families who either served or had a member of your family who has served in the US Armed Services. November 11th is a well deserved tribute and we will spend time reflecting and showing gratitude. Our middle school events student committee is hosting a fundraiser for veterans in need. You and your students are invited to donate a dollar or more and wear red, white, or blue with any school appropriate bottoms on Thursday, November 11th, 2021. Please send your donation to your child's teacher prior to or on the 11th. Thank you for helping our Veterans!

Thanksgiving Day Parade: We are excited to announce that Premier Charter School will be participating in this year's Thanksgiving Day Parade. If your family is interested in participating, please fill out the attached google form so we can keep you up to date with all the details!

"Celebrating its 37th year, the 2021 Ameren Thanksgiving Day Parade will step off at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, November 25 from 20th and Market Street and proceed east towards Broadway in Downtown St. Louis. The parade will be broadcast live on KMOV-TV Channel 4."
